Define Transportation Hazard Class

Explanation

This activity is used to classify the way in which dangerous substances are transported. According to the UN system, dangerous parts belong to one of the nine classes as defined in the Transport of Dangerous Goods Act.

Procedure

1. Open the Dangerous Goods Classification Basic Data window and click the Transportation Hazard Class tab.
2. Click the Transportation Hazard Class tab.
3. Create a new record.
4. Enter a value in the Hazard Class field.
5. Enter a value in the Description field.
6. Save.
