Define and Maintain Repair Routing

Explanation

This activity is used to view, create and maintain included operations by repair code for repair routings. Repair code routings represent the subset of the machine and labor operations defined in the monolithic repair routing which are relevant to this repair.

Repair interim orders and their corresponding supply shop orders are created when disposition shop orders for parts requiring modifications or discrepancies are approved. For each modification or discrepancy being addressed, the repair routings are used to ascertain the required operations for the relevant repair codes.

Detailed operation information, such as machines and labor defined for the part, is specified in the Routing window

Prerequisites

The repair routings cannot be activated unless the monolithic repair routing alternates derived are in the state Buildable.

As a result of this activity, you can define and maintain repair routings.

Procedure

  1. Open the Repair Code Routing window.
  2. Populate or query for the required real part.
  3. Create a new record in the upper table.
  4. Enter the required repair code or use the List of Values.
  5. Save the record.
  6. Select the Included check box if the monolithic repair routing alternate operation is been included as an operation for the repair code routing. It is possible to select more than one operation.
  7. You have the option to Activate, Cancel or Review a selected line by using the right mouse button options Activate, Cancel or Review. The Repair Code Routing field will be updated accordingly.
