Explanation

Use this activity to connect repair code with parts affected by modifications.

Prerequisites

• Repair codes must be defined.
• Inventory parts must exist.

System Effects

• Modification repair records are created by connecting repair codes to affected parts for a modification.
• Modification repair records are used to determine the routing operations for repair shop orders generated during disposition.

Procedure

Follow these steps, in order to perform this activity:

1. Open the Modification Repair Code window.
2. Query a modification.
3. Select the first row in table window and create a new record (F5).
4. Enter information for Repair Code and Compliance. Repair codes for Terminating Action compliance will always be required. Check the details of the modification in VIM to see if repair codes for Initial Inspection and/or Continuous Inspection are required. 
5. Save the record (F12).
