Copy Entire Master Schedule - MS Level 1

Explanation

This activity is used to copy an entire level 1 master schedule from one set to another set, mainly for comparison and simulation purposes.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, a master schedule set must be created.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the entire level 1 master schedule is copied to the destination MS set. If there was a master schedule already in the destination set, then it will be replaced.

Copy Entire Master Schedule - MS Level 1

Procedure

1. Open the MS Level 1 Forecast Sets window.
2. Select the master schedule set from which you want to copy the master schedule.
3. Right-click and then click Copy Entire Master Schedule. The Copy Entire Master Schedule - MS Level 1 dialog box opened.
4. In the Site or the Part No field, specify the destination MS set that you want your master schedule to be copied. Click List to select from available sets.
5. If copying the entire master schedule for a project master scheduled part, enter a value in the Project PNG field.
6. Click OK.
7. Copy process will be executed online and you can view the copied master schedule MS Level 1 by clicking Register Forecast tab on MS Level 1 Part window by selecting destination MS Set from the MS Set list.
