Check Reserved Serial Structure

Explanation

This activity is used to view the reserved serial number structure for shop order parts.

Prerequisites

The parent part (including its component parts) must be defined as an inventory serial tracking part in Part. The serial numbers must have been reserved for the shop order parent parts. Material must have been reserved for the shop order.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system displays the reserved serial number structure for shop order parts. You can create or change the relationships between serialized parts and serialized components.

Procedure

From Shop Order As-Built Structure window:

1. In the Order No list, select the shop order for which you want to display the reserved serial number structures.
2. To view the reserved serial number structures, right-click in the Tracked Structure tab and then click Expand all levels or Expand (for one level).
3. If you wish to view only tracked components in the structure, right-click and then click View only Tracked Components.

From Shop Floor Workbench window:

1. In the Shop Floor Workbench window select any operation on the shop order for which you want to display the reserved serial number structures.
2. To view the reserved serial number structures, right-click in the Tracked Structure tab and then click Expand all levels or Expand (for one level).
3. If you wish to view only tracked components in the structure, right-click and then click View only Tracked Components.
