Handle Pallets on Delivery Location
Explanation
This window is only available when using the pallet handling function. You use this
functionality to modify the quantity of parts per pallet and to deliver the pallet into
inventory. The pallet records created are based on a standard quantity of parts per pallet
specified in the entry of the part in the inventory part register. If the quantity per
pallet is not standard, parts can be moved among pallets as needed to achieve the
standard. The number of pallets can be altered, but the number of parts cannot.
Prerequisites
- All necessary pallet information must have been specified in Inventory
Part/Pallet.
- Order is reported delivered into a delivery location.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, parts are being moved between pallets and a new pallet is
created if you have chosen to create one.
