Change or Enter W/D/R Number (Single)
Explanation
The appearance of a W/D/R (Waiver, Deviation, Rejection) number means that the parts are wrong in some way
or that they deviate from the standard. Use the
Change W/D/R No window to change or enter a new W/D/R number. The field will accept alphanumeric
characters. The purpose of this functionality is to indicate which parts are wrong. If only some of the parts in a batch are affected, you
have the option to indicate that this is the case.
Prerequisites
- The inventory location type cannot be arrival, quality assurance, pallet arrival, or pallet quality.
- If the W/D/R number should be updated for the barcode label, the barcode must have been defined in IFS/Purchasing, in the
Purchase Order Receipt/Single tab.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the W/D/R number is changed or entered. If the quantity field in
the
Change W/D/R No dialog box is changed, the part location record is divided into additional locations.
