Convert to Direct Transport Task

Explanation

If the transport task line have a forward to location defined it is possible to remove the to location and replace it with the forward to location creating a direct transport task.

Prerequisites

• A transport task line has to be created.
• The transport task line has to be in the Created status.
• The transport task line has to have a forward-to location defined.

System Effects

 The transport task line will be changed. The forward to location will be to-location the and the forward to location will be empty on the transport task line.

Procedure

From the Transport Task/Single tab or the Transport Task/Pallet tab:

• Populate, query or create a transport task where a drop-off location exists between the from and the to-location.
• Select the transport task line.
• Open the operations menu and select Convert to Direct Transport Task.
• Notice that the to-location have changed to the forward-to location that was defined on the transport task line and that the forward-to location is left blank.
