Apply Drop-Off Location

Explanation

If a drop-off location exists between the from and to locations, it is possible to apply it to the transport task line.

Note: If the Auto Assign Drop-Off Location on Manual Transport Task check box is enabled on site, the drop-off location will be assigned automatically.

Prerequisites

• A transport task line has to be created.
• The transport task line has to be in the Created status.
• Drop-off Location has to be entered in the Warehouse Navigator window.

System Effects

 The transport task line will be changed. The to-location will be the forward-to location and the drop-off will be the to-location on the transport task line.

Procedure

From the Transport Task/Single tab or the Transport Task/Pallet tab:

• Populate, query or create a transport task where a drop-off location exists between the from and the to-location.
• Select the transport task line.
• Open the operations menu and select Apply Drop-Off Location.
• Notice that the to-location has changed to the drop-off location defined in the warehouse navigator and that the forward-to location is the same as the previously defined to-location.
