Execute Transport Task Line

Explanation

This activity is used to execute a transport task line that has not been completed.

Prerequisites

• A transport task must have been created for the relevant goods.
• The goods should have been physically moved.

System Effects

The movement of the goods is executed on the transport task line and the status of the line changes to Executed.

Procedure

1. Open the Transport Task window or the Transport Task Lines window.
2. Populate or query for the required transport task ID.
3. Select the lines that should be executed.
4. Right-click and then click Execute.
5. If the part is serial tracked at receipt and issue but not serial tracked in inventory, and has been moved to another site, then a dialog box appears where the serial number(s) that has been moved should be identified.
