Enter Bays for Warehouse

Explanation

This activity is used to enter the bays to the current warehouse in the required warehouse structure. In addition to this you can also see how attributes are inherited from the warehouse structure and enter deviating attributes on the bays.

Prerequisites

The warehouse must be entered.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you have connected bays with attributes to the required warehouse structure.

Procedure

From the Warehouse Bays window:

1. Open the  Warehouse Bays window.
2. Click New to create a new record.
3. Enter suitable values in the other appropriate fields.
4. Save the record.

From the Warehouse Navigator/Bays tab:

1. Open the Warehouse Navigator window and populate or search for the relevant site.
2. The graphical structure of the warehouse will be displayed in the left side of the window.
3. Select the warehouse node.
4. The Bays tab will be displayed.
5. Click the Bays tab and create a new record.
6. Enter a suitable value in the Bay field and a description in the Description field.
7. Enter suitable values in the other appropriate fields.
8. Save the record.
