Define Access Panels per Product Model

Explanation

This activity is used to define access panels per product model. Access panels are used to indicate which panels have to be removed to give access for performing maintenance.

Prerequisites

The product model must have been defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, access panels are defined per product model and can be entered on instructions or subtasks.

Procedure

Instruction Basic Data:

1. Open the Instruction Basic Data window.
2. Click the Access Panels per Product Model tab and create a new record (F5).
3. In the Product Number field, enter the product number. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
4. In the Model Number field, enter the model number. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
5. In the Access Panel ID field, enter a unique identity for the new access panel.
6. In the Access Panel Description field, enter the description of the new access panel.
7. Save the information (F12).

Function Structure Navigator:

1. Open the Function Structure Navigator window.
2. Query (F3) for the necessary product model.
3. Click the Access Panel tab and create a new record (F5).
4. In the Access Panel ID field, enter a unique identity for the new access panel.
5. In the Access Panel Description field, enter the description of the new access panel.
6. Save the information (F12).
