Use this activity to update structure data for a part during the detailed transfer.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that the detailed transfer must have been started.

As a result of this activity, the system updates structure data for a part during the detailed transfer.

Procedure:

1. Open the Engineering Structure Transfer Graphic window.
2. Populate or query for the part number.
3. In the Part No field, select the engineering revision for which you want to update the structure data.
4. In the Structure Tree tab, right-click then click Expand Descendents to view the entire structure.
5. Select the part of your choice in the tree structure, then update the part data in the adjoining table area.
6. Remove a component by selecting the component line, then selecting Remove.
7. Add a new component by selecting a component line and then selecting and entering values in the Component Part and Qty per Assembly fields. Use the List of Values to select from available component parts.
8. Save the record.
