Connect Equipment Objects to Elements

Explanation

This activity is used to connect equipment objects to elements.

Note: If the equipment object already is connected to a design object, that design object will appear as a connection in the Design Objects tab in the Elements tab.

Prerequisites

• Available if IFS/Equipment is installed.
• A linear asset with one or more elements should exists.

System Effects

An equipment object is connected to the element.

Procedure

1. Open the Linear Asset window and query for the relevant record.
2. Click the Elements tab.
3. In the lower table, click the Equipment Objects tab.
4. Enter value in the Object ID fields.
5. Save the record.
