Description of process

The safety management process allows organizations to plan and perform routine inspections to ensure that all safety regulations are followed within the organization. It also helps managing all equipment related with health and safety. In addition to the inspection, safety actions aimed at improving safety standards can also be registered, managed and monitored.

The process consists of the following sub-processes:

Safety Inspection Planning

The safety inspection process allows organizations to conduct routine inspections to ensure that all safety regulations are followed within the organization. Each safety inspection is focused on a particular location in the organization. If you are conducting a fire inspection, fire extinguishers available at the location of the inspection can be separately evaluated. You can also create a team of members for each inspection. Additionally, standard templates of questions can be predefined based on the safety procedures etc. that needs to be evaluated through the inspection. You can also register additional information by creating new questions for the inspection and providing a relevant answer.

Safety Inspection Management

Once the inspection is conducted, you can register the findings in the Safety Inspection window. That is, the person in charge of the inspection can provide answers to standard questions relevant to the inspection. The safety inspection question can be connected to a set of actions which can be registered and then assigned to people responsible and monitored.

Safety Action Management

Each safety inspection question can be connected to one or more actions. This allows you to define corrective measures for identified safety concerns. These tasks (actions) can be assigned to persons in order to implement them as required. Those actions can be modified as conditions change in the workplace. New actions can also easily be created.
