Register Planned Safety Inspection

Explanation

This activity is used to plan a safety inspection by defining the general information. A safety inspection is always linked to a specific location in the company.

Procedure

  1. Open the Safety Inspection window and create a new record.
  2. Enter an identifier for the safety inspection in the Safety Inspection No field.
  3. Enter the type of inspection in the Safety Inspection Type field. Select a value using the list. Note that FIRE and HAZARD are system defined types.
  4. The inspection templates connected to the inspection type in the Safety Inspection Basic Data window will be listed for the Safety Inspection Template field. Select a template using the list.
  5. Specify the location at which the inspection takes place in the Location ID field. You can also use the list of values.
  6. Go to the Location Details tab and create a new record in order to specify details of the place for the inspection in the Sub Location field. You can also select a value from the list.
  7. You can enter the organization details for the safety inspection in the Organization Code field.
  8. In the Site Manager field, you can enter the site manager. Select a person from the list.
  9. You can add comments in the Remark field.
  10. Save the information. The status of the safety inspection will be Planned. Also note that the safety inspection questions defined for the template will show in the Questions and Actions tab and the Safety Inspection Questions table.
