Connect Object to Risk Assessment
Explanation
This activity is used to connect an object to a risk assessment. Objects are
items in the application that can be relevant to the assessment, e.g., incident
cases, work orders, company sites, equipment, and non-conformance reports. It
allows for quick access to the relevant data straight from the Risk
Assessment window. For example, an incident relevant to the assessment
can be linked as an object and quickly accessed via the right-click menu.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- Relevant objects have to be configured in the Object Connections
window.
- Risk assessment has to be in Planned or InProgress state.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, an object will be connected to the risk
assessment.

Procedure
- Open the Risk Assessment window.
- Navigate to the Connected To tab and add a new record. A
new window will open.
- In the Object field, select what object type you want to connect.
- In the table, select a relevant object, e.g., Incident Case No.
Note: If you have any saved searches, you can select them from the
Selection field. Note that each Object type has its own selection
set. This functionality can be used to limit the amount of displayed
objects.
- Click OK.
- Save the information.
