PrerequisitesUse this portlet to view contents of one of your outlook folders. This portlet connects to your local outlook instance to the account of currently logged on Windows user. Therefore it will work only on MS Windows workstations.
PrerequisitesThe portlet works only on MS Windows workstations. The client machine should have Microsoft Outlook 2000 or higher installed. Microsoft Office installation is not mandatory. This portlet uses the Outlook View Control, which is an ActiveX control. The control is not installed in Outlook 2000 by default, but is available for download from Microsoft.
Important: For Outlook 2000 Microsoft has released an update that eliminates potential security vulnerability. This security update for Outlook 2000 installs the ActiveX control (outlctlx.dll) in the client machine. So if you are using Outlook 2000 the required ActivX control will have to be downloaded. If you are using Outlook 2002 then the ActivX control is already available with it.
Viewing the Search ResultsThis portlet displays the contents of selected MS Outlook folder.
