Create Separator Row

Explanation

Use this activity to create a separator row in a row template. A separator row is used to draw a horizontal line in the report for separating text from other text or to show a line under some column values. The line can be suppressed for one or several columns.

Prerequisites

Before creating a separator row, you must have created, copied, or imported a row template.

As a result of this activity, a separator row is added to the row template.

Separator Row

Procedure

Use the following procedure to create a separator row:

  1. Open Row Template and find the row template where you want to include a separator row.
  2. Select Operations/New Row (or double-click on the row) and then Separator Row as the type of row you want to create. The automatically displays Separator Row.
  3. Specify the Row Name and Description.
  4. Enter the information in the Layout tab. Save the information.
  5. Use the Columns button to suppress the line for one or more columns if the Full Line field has the value 'No' and the row template has a fixed column template.
  6. Use the Row Order button to change the print order for the rows. In the dialog box, select the name of the row and then click either the Up or Down button.
