Create Metric Values

Explanation

Use this activity to create Metric Values from IFS Report Generator. Created values can be modified or new values can be manually added in Metric Values.

Prerequisites

Metric Identities must be defined and linked to a row template in IFS Report Generator.

Value Set's must be defined and linked to a column template in IFS Report Generator.

The used row and column template must be linked to a report template in IFS Report Generator.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, Metric Values are calculated and stored in Metric Values. These values will also update the IAL Metric_Values_General_Ledger. This IAL can be used by Business Performance Module to analyze key metrics.

Procedure

1. From the IFS Navigator, open Report Generator/Order Report.
2. Select a Report with a row and column template that supports metric values.
3. Select the desired Reference Period.
4. Select the desired Budget Version if appropriate.
5. Checkbox Create Key Metrics should be checked automatically. If the check is removed, a normal report will be printed and no metric values will be stored in Metric Values.
6. Click OK to generate metric values.
