Usage

Use this window to define a design FMEA header and to view, add, or change the information in it. This tab is only visible if you have Failure Modes and Effects Analysis installed.

A design FMEA header is the connection between a structure alternate and a function, or intended purpose of a part. It contains basic FMEA information such as FMEA type, status, and the user ID of the person who created the FMEA record. Each header can be associated with an FMEA checklist. This is a list of questions that you must check off before changing the status of the header from Created to Approved. From this window, you can right-click and open Design FMEA Function.
