Review Assembly Shop Order Repair Codes

Use this activity to specify the repair codes to indicate the modification related repairs to be performed on the the parent part being received.

Prerequisites

This activity requires the reservation of a serial number for the part being received to the assembly shop order. It also requires the existence of modifications defined for the part being received.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the specific repairs to be performed will be identified. The repair codes will be used to create the appropriate repair order.

Procedure

1. Records in this tab are automatically created when the user clicks the right mouse button option Create Repair Codes and repopulates. Users cannot manually create or delete repair code records here.
2. Type comments in the Repair Comments field in the upper table, if appropriate.
3. Decide if the repair code should be included or excluded using the Repair Included list.
4. Click Save.
5. Type comments in the Source Comments fields in the lower table, if appropriate. The lower table indicates the source modification codes from which the repair code in the upper table originated.
6. Click Save.
