Analyze Report

Explanation

This activity is used to analyze an executed report. You can use Zoom In and Drill Down features to analyze the report. Any non BA output that should be saved with the BA report can be placed on a non-BA sheet during the report analysis.

Dataset Information

Use this activity to display data sets created during execution and the execution time for each data set created. This activity is also related to Display Datasets before Execution activity description. Please refer to that for more information.

Prerequisites

In order to analyze a report you must have an executed report.

If you want to zoom-in a report then, the report must have been designed using the Zoom-in feature. If you want to drill down a report then, the report must have been designed using the Drill Down feature.

If you want to enter non-BA content that needs to be saved with the BA report, a non-BA sheet should be defined when designing the report.

Dataset Information

In order to analyze the executed time for each data set in the report, you need to select the check box Display Dataset Information before Execution under debug options in the Report Options in designer mode.
