Open BA Report

Explanation

This activity is used to open a BA report that is saved in the BA export archive. The executed BA report is saved during export of the Excel report without BA.

The report from the BA export archive is opened in the executed mode (with the old dataset). The users can re-execute the BA report if fresh database values are needed for the report.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• The report you want to open must have been saved in the BA export archive.
• You must have access to the report.

System Effects

The selected report will be opened in the BA client in its executed mode.

Procedure

To open a BA report:

1. Click Manage Archive to open the Manage Archive dialog box. (Note: Once you export the Excel report without BA, you will be asked whether you want to manage the BA archive in a message. You can open this dialog box by clicking Yes.)
2. Select a report in the Report Selection tab and then click Open.
