Apply Drill Down
Explanation
This activity is used to look for information not only from a particular data
source in comparison to the Zoom In functionality but, also looks
for information in related data sources connected to a particular data source.
Drill down can be applied only for measure items or light items.
Prerequisites
In order to view a detailed breakdown of the Drill Down data source, the
report design should have the Drill Down feature enabled. This check box can be
selected only if an information source has been supported for drill down and a
measure item is enabled for drill down (i.e. the Enable Drill Down check
box should be selected for the measure item).

Procedure
- Click the cell where Drill Down should be enabled.
- Click the Drill Down tab.
- Select the Enable Drill Down check box. The Drill Down display item
area will be populated with relevant data once it has been selected.
Note: Items defined as mandatory to support the related URL option will
be in bold red text. Clearing such a display item will raise a message
stating, the URL-option will be lost. Display items included in the design
will be in bold and colored in green.
- Click Run.
- Right-click the drill-down enabled cell and select Drill Down to view the drilled down information. A query is sent to the IFS Applications and the result will be populated in a new sheet.
- Select a row and right-click and select any of the URL options available to go to IFS Applications in order to view the transaction. You
will be prompted to logon to IFS Applications.
