Register Project Functions

Explanation

All functions to be used in the delivery project must be registered in Project Product/Functions. You must assign functions to your project here before you can organize the functions in a structure. Before you can assign any functions to the project, a top internal ID must be registered in the Delivery Projects window.

Prerequisites

• A top internal ID must be registered in Delivery Projects.
• The function must be defined in Product Basic Data/Functions in IFS/PDM-Configuration.

System Effects

• Parts can be connected to the function.
• The functions registered can be organized in a function structure in the graphical display in Project Product/Function Structure.

Procedure

To create a project function in Project Functions, follow these steps:

1. Create a new record.
2. Enter project ID, or select a project from the List of Values.
3. If desired, fill in the Note field.
4. Save

1. Create a new record.
2. Follow step 2 through 4 in the steps above.
