Copy Functions from Project Product

Explanation

This activity is used to copy the function structure along with all the functions of a delivery project. Functions on the lowest level can have connected parts. These connections will not be copied. (When copying a project, including a project product structure, it is possible to also copy the connections between the functions and parts. See Copy Project Plan for more information.)

Prerequisites

None.

System Effects

• Functions and function structure are copied from the specified delivery project.
• All document references are copied.
• All characteristics are copied.

Copy Functions from Project

Procedure

1. Open the Project Product window and query for the required project.
2. Click the Functions tab and right-click on the function line. Select the Copy Functions from Project menu option to display the Copy Functions dialog box.
3. Specify the delivery project from which to copy and click OK.
