Qualify Forecast Parts

Explanation

Use this activity to qualify or disqualify parts as Forecast Parts based on a specified number of transactions (demand or purchase). The selection of these transactions is defined by the base flow SQL statement setup. The number of transactions to qualify as a forecast part is specified in the Schedule setup.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that data has been loaded into the forecast server.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system adds/removes forecast parts.

Procedure

1. The schedule for qualifying/disqualifying forecast parts is established in Demand Plan Server Setup/Scheduling. If the field Scheduled Date/Time is empty, type a valid date/time when you want the job to run the first time. You also must set up the intervals in which you want the job performed. 
2. You also can perform this activity from the demand plan server menu System-Qualify Parts.
