Explanation
This activity is used to specify:
- How many past periods from which to collect historical demand.
- How many future periods for which to create forecasts.
- The default forecast model and its parameters.
- The fields by which you want the parts to be grouped in the Demand Plan
Client.

Procedure
- Start the Demand Plan Server Setup Assistant
dialog box and go through the steps. Remember that
the assistant only creates one base flow. So if additional flows are
required, then
this have to be done in the Demand Plan Server Setup
Assistant/scheduling dialog box.
- Adding of scheduling information have to be done in
Demand Plan Server Setup
Assistant/Scheduling dialog box.
Or;
- To make a new demand plan server, you should open the
Demand Plan Servers window and click New.
- Fill out all the required fields.
- Save the setup.
- Open the new Forecast Server ID field value in the
Demand Plan Server Setup
Assistant
window and add flows, period versions and scheduling information.
