Create Forecast

Explanation

Use this activity to create forecasts for Forecast Parts by aggregating transactions (demand or purchase) by period. Then, based on this demand, a forecast is made.  The selection of these transactions is defined by the base flow setup SQL statement.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that data must be loaded into the forecast server.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system creates historical demand and a forecast on all forecast parts.

Procedure

1. The schedule is established in Forecast Server Setup/Scheduling. If the field Scheduled Date/Time is empty, type a valid date/time when you want the job to run the first time. You also must specify the intervals in which you want the job performed. 
2. This activity also can be performed from the forecast server menu System-Create Forecast.
