Define Base Units
Explanation
Use this activity to enter new base units from either predefined or
user-defined units. This optional task is to be performed by a system
administrator or

A base unit always has a factor of 1, and the same code is used for the unit
code and base unit. All base units can be viewed in the
Units of Measure
window.

This activity has the following prerequisites:
- For predefined base units, the Used in Application check box must be selected
in the ISO Code Usage window.
- For user-defined units,

- When a unit of measure defined as discrete is used in an inventory part,
the quantity calculation rounding for that part should always be set to zero.
