Define Document Classes and Formats for B2B Contracting

Explanation

This activity is used to configure the document classes and default formats to be used for Business-to-Business (B2B) contracting. The order in which the classes should be listed can also be specified. The default format selected here can be modified when the B2B user creates documents.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, document classes and formats must be entered in the Document Basic window.

Procedure

  1. Open the B2B Basic Data page.
  2. Click the Doc Classes and Formats tab.
  3. All Data is selected by default. Click Refresh.
  4. Enter a value in the B2B LOV Order field for a suitable class, to determine the order in which the class will be listed.
  5. Enter a value in the Default Format Value field of the selected class. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
  6. Save the record. (F12)
