Create Action

Explanation

Use this activity to create a new Action Identity. An action is used on separate and route PM actions to describe the type of task that should be performed on the object. The same type of action often applies to many different objects and is a mandatory field for PM Actions.

Procedure

1. Open the Maintenance Basic Data window and click the Actions tab.
2. Create a new record (F5).
3. In the Action field, enter a unique ID for the action.
4. In the Description field, enter a short description of the action.
5. Save the information (F12).
