Before you begin to create equipments, work orders, etc you have to define some common data. This is done in the IFS/Basic Data for Maintenance. The common basic data includes maintenance organization, employees, crafts, parameters, actions, causes, performed actions, units, connect sales part to craft, and connect sales part to maintenance organizations. This information is to be used throughout in IFS/Maintenance, and in IFS/Service Management.
