Enter Phrase for Document
Explanation
This activity is used to enter a library of standard, commonly used, phrases. This optional task is to be performed by a system
administrator or equivalent person.
A phrase can be a greeting or other message of up to 2000 characters that can be printed on documents. You can select a
predefined phrase for an output type in which document text has been enabled. Phrases on internal documents are printed on the
first page of the document. Phrases on external documents are printed at the far bottom of each side of a page.
The language code to which the phrase is connected determines the language in which it is displayed and printed.

- ISO languages must be installed.

Procedure
- Open the Document Text Administration window.
- Click the
Phrases tab.
- To create a new phrase, create a new record and enter a unique ID number in the
Phrase field. To edit an existing phrase,
search for the phrase.
- To enter or edit the phrase's description, use the Description field.
- Create a new row.
- In the Language field, select the language from the List of Values.
- In the Text field, enter or edit up to 2000 alphanumeric characters for the text that will appear in the document.
- Save the changes.
- Optionally, the document phrase information of specific phrases can be
viewed by right-clicking and clicking on Details on the
Document Phrases tab.
