Define Planning Networks

Explanation

Use this activity to define and manage, planning network information.

You can view whether one site is in more than one planning network, and the last time MRP (Material Requirements Planning) was run, on a site or planning network.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The site must have been created.
• The user allowed sites must have been defined.

System Effects

Planning networks are defined and available for multi-site planning activities. You can either run multi-site planning by entering a planning network, or run single site planning by entering a site.

Procedure

1. Open the Planning Network window.
2. In the Planning Network field, search for the planning network to which you want to connect your sites, or enter a new planning network.
3. In the Site field, enter the sites to which you want to connect the planning network. Use the List of Values to select a value.
4. To delete the sites from a planning network, select the site you want to delete and  press Delete. Please note that only the user allowed sites can be deleted.
5. Save the changes.
