Define Task Type

Explanation

This activity is used to define a task type. The task type is an attribute which is used to determine the nature of the task. For example, you could define a task type as 1st Line Support or 2nd Line Support to indicate what part  of the support organization should handle the task.

Procedure

1. Open the Task Basic Data window and click the Task Type tab.
2. Create a new record. (F5)
3. Enter a value in the Task Type field.
4. Optionally, enter a description for the task type in the Description field.
5. Optionally, enter a number in the LOV Order field to determine the order in which the task type will appear in a List of Values.
6. Save the record.(F12)
