Enter Opportunity Roles

Explanation

This activity is used to view, modify, or enter opportunity roles. An opportunity role defines the role of the contact person in relation to the specific opportunity, e.g. technical expert, sales administrator etc.

This activity has no prerequisites.

System Effects

An opportunity role is created and is available for use in business opportunity.

Procedure

  1. Open the CRM Basic Data window and click the Opportunity Roles tab.
  2. Create a new record.
  3. Enter the short code for opportunity role in the Role ID field.
  4. Enter a description of the opportunity role in the Description field.
  5. Save the information.
