A business activity allows you to enter and store information about different actions that you may want to perform with regard to customers or suppliers. The actions can be related to anything such as a visit, presentation, product demo, training, sales promotion, call, etc.
The first step in a new entry is to enter the activity header. By default, the activity will have the Not Started status. The status can be changed later via the right mouse button menu. The next step in a new entry is to specify representatives and contacts. The representative connected to the current user is retrieved to the Main Representative field and a record is added to the Representatives tab.
You can create a business opportunity from a business activity connected to a customer by using the right mouse button menu. On the other hand, you can create business activities from a business opportunity as well. The connections that an activity incurs are listed in the References tab.
