Copy Contract Item Tax

Explanation

For some contracts, you may wish to keep a set of saved tax codes throughout the contract life cycle. You can select the Copy Contract Item Tax check box to enable the setting where the saved tax codes on the contract item level will be copied to the application for payment and then to the invoice.

Note: When a new contract is created, the latest tax codes and percentages are set to be refreshed and updated on the contract automatically. The saved tax codes, percentages and amounts in the contract item level will be refreshed based on the latest tax basic data. You can stop this refresh setting as required. The tax codes are refreshed at the four stages give below:

Procedure

  1. Open the Sales Contract window and query for the required contract.
  2. Click the General tab and select the Copy Contract Item Tax check box to copy the saved tax of the contract items. This tax will be copied to the application for payment, and then to the invoice.
