Remove Operations from Repair Shop Order

Explanation

This activity is used to manually remove an operation on a repair shop order, which has been created from a component repair order line.

Prerequisites

• The shop order must have operations.
• The operation to be removed should not be in Setup Started, Setup Complete, In Process, Partially Reported, Interruption, or Closed status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an operation is removed from the repair shop order, which is pegged to a component repair order. The removed operation will not be included in the work scope.

Procedure

1. Open the Component Repair Order window and search for an existing component repair order.
2. Click the Repairs tab.
3. Select a component repair order line that is released for repair with the repair order type Repair Shop Order.
4. Click the Repair Order tab, right-click and then click Repair Shop Order. The Shop Order window opens.
5. Click the Operation tab.
6. Select the operation that should be removed and delete the record.
7. Save.
