Define Valid Form Types Per Approval

Explanation

This activity is used to define the valid form types to use under a certain approval.

Prerequisites

• A valid approval type must have been defined for the maintenance organization.
• The form types must have been predefined in the Part Certificate Basic Data/Form Types tab.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, valid form types are defined for an approval for a maintenance organization.

Procedure

1. Open the Authority Approval window.
2. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the required approval type and maintenance organization.
3. Click the Form Types tab and create a new record (F5).
4. In the Form Type field, enter the part certification form type for the selected approval. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
5. In the Revision field, use the List of Values to select a different form type revision, if needed.
6. Save the information (F12).
