This activity is used to enter the information required to create a cash flow forecast.
In order to perform this activity:
As a result of this activity, information required to create a cash flow forecast will be available in the Cash Flow Forecast window.
To enter cash flow forecast information:
Open the Cash Flow Forecast window and create a new record.
Use the List of Values to select a cash flow forecast category for the Forecast Category field.
Use the List of Values to select the cash flow forecast ID you want to use in order to create the forecast.
Enter a value in the Version field in order to identify the cash flow forecast version that will be created.
Select the analysis ID you want to connect to the cash flow forecast from the List of Values for the Analyse ID field.
If you want the cash flow forecast to be created for a company other than the current company, change the company displayed in the Company field. The List of Values can be used to select a company ID. If you want the cash flow forecast to be created for all your companies, leave the Company field blank.
If you want the cash flow forecast to be calculated from a date later than the system date, enter the relevant date in the Date From field.
If you want the cash flow forecast to be calculated until a date later than the date suggested by default, enter the relevant date in the Date Until field.
If you want cash flow amounts in a specific currency, change the currency code displayed in the Currency Code field. If the field is left empty cash flows of all currency codes are included in the cash flow.
If you want to apply the currency rates of a company other than your default company to the cash flow amounts of the forecast, select the relevant company ID from the List of Values for the Company for Curr field.
Change the values displayed in the Default Buy Curr Type and Default Sell Curr Type fields if required. The List of Values can be used to select currency rate types of the company you entered in the Company for Curr field.
Save the information.
