Enter Resolution and Close Case

Explanation

This activity is used to enter the resolution and close the case. When the resolution to the problem is found, you can close the case. Then the case will receive the Closed status. 

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the case must be in the Open status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the resolution to the case will be entered.

Procedure

  1. Open the Case window. Query for the case for which you want to enter a resolution.
  2. Click the Description tab.
  3. In the lower text field, enter the resolution for this case. The Our Resolution option is the default option for this field.
  4. Right-click and then click Close Case.
  5. Save the record.
