Enter Business Object
Explanation
This activity is used to connect business objects to a support
key. You can set individual response times for business objects.
The business object types that can be connected are sales part,
customer agreement, equipment object, change request, service contract, project activity and shop order. When you create a
case using the New Case Assistant, you can select business
objects connected to the support key, if required.
Prerequisites
- A support key must have been created in the
Support
Key window.
- Business objects must have been defined on the
Support Organization Basic Data/Business Object tab.
System Effects
If
the
Select Business Object Identified by Support Key check box is selected,
the business objects defined
for the support key can be selected when creating cases using the
New Case Assistant.

Procedure
- Open the
Support Key window and query for the relevant
support key.
- Click the
Business Objects tab.
- Select a row on the lower table and double-click to create a new
record. (or press F5)
- Select a value in the Business Object field.
- Enter values in the Ref ID 1, Ref ID 2, Ref ID 3,
Ref ID 4 fields. Right-click on the row and select Business
Object Selection. The
Business Object Selection dialog
box opens.
Select the values for the IDs. Click List to select suitable
values.
- Optionally, enter numerical values in the Reaction Time, Interval,
Response 1, Response 2, Response 3, Response 4 fields.
- Save the record. (F12)
