Unissue to Inventory from Project
Explanation
This activity is used to return a quantity of a part to inventory after it
has been issued to the project. This is useful when returning materials issued
for rough estimations and extra stocks.
Prerequisites
- The part(s) must have been issued from inventory to the project.
System Effects
- The issued quantity for selected project item is updated.
- If all issued quantity is returned, the value in the Issued Date
field is cleared.
- The quantity on hand for the part is updated. The un-issued quantity of
the part of the part is added back to the quantity on hand.

Procedure
- Open the
Project
Navigator or the Project
window, and search for the respective project. Alternatively on the Activity
window, search for the required activity. Click on the
Demand/ERMPL
tab. Alternatively, simply open the ERMPL
window.
- Select the part to return then select the menu option Unissue to
Inventory. The Unissue To Inventory dialog box will appear.
- In the dialog box, enter the quantity being returned to the desired
location in inventory, then click OK.
Note: If IFS/Project Reporting is installed, the
Create Project
Transaction dialog box will
appear.
