Define Item Inspection Types

Explanation

This activity is used to create inspection types for punch items. The inspection type will show to which type the inspection of the punch item belongs. Examples of inspection types are: Site Acceptance Test, Site Survey Test and Witness Test.

Procedure

1. Open the Punch List Basic Data window.
2. Click the Item Inspection Types tab.
3. Click New.
4. In the Inspection Type ID field, enter an identity for an inspection type.
5. In the Description field, enter a description of the inspection type.
6. Click Save.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 to define more inspection types.

Note: The Obsolete check box can be selected, for an inspection type which is no longer used and cannot be used on new punch items.
