Define Item Disciplines

Explanation

This activity is used to create item disciplines. The discipline will show to which discipline, e.g., functional, mechanical or electrical, a punch item belongs.

Procedure

1. Open the Punch List Basic Data window.
2. Click the Item Disciplines tab.
3. Click New.
4. In the Disciplines ID field, enter an identity for an item discipline.
5. In the Description field, enter a description of the item discipline.
6. Click Save.  
7. Repeat steps 3-6 to define more item disciplines.

Note: The Obsolete check box can be selected, for an item discipline which is no longer used and cannot be used on new punch items.
