Create Navigational Model Item

Explanation

This activity is used to configure navigational model items. This entails choosing the required database columns for the respective business object types and giving them descriptive text names in order to simplify the navigation possibilities. For example, the CLASS, KEYA01, and KEYA database columns can be chosen as the model items for the Object business object type, for a particular standard, and configured to appear as Class, Facility and Object ID respectively. Only the chosen model items will then be available for creating Navigational Models and Node Displays.

Prerequisites

A standard must exist.

System Effects

A filtered set of model items will be available for defining navigational models and node displays.
