Define Increment Behavior in Day Type Switch

Explanation

Use this function to control which increment the employee should have when changing working hours from the ordinary day type to a temporary day type defined as a deviation day. The function is relevant when you have linked increment definitions (increment types) directly to the working hours definitions (day types), and you add a temporary day type to the deviation days information.

This function does not effect:

- increments defined in the increment schedule.
- day type changes defined in the substitute schedule.
- day type changes defined in the deviation cycle.

Prerequisites

The relevant day types and increment types must have been entered.

System Effects

When the employee switches from the ordinary day type to a temporary day type, the system checks this set up before selecting any increment type linked to any of the involved day types.
